Touched By Twilight
Touched By Twilight came about because creators Brittany, Morgan and Kimmie all thought that there was room out there for an adult Twilight forum. Not a forum exclusively for moms, or teens, or those over 25; just a place for fans over 18 to discuss their favorite Twilight novels with others, and have discussions that did not limit the content of the discussions or language. We do not have a PG 13 rating, and allow the members to discuss and use language up to an R rating. That does not mean that all of our discussions are dirty or inappropriate, it just allows us to have conversations without using “baking” terminology.
The age limit (18+)
The age limit came about simply because of the content of the discussion on the site. We (Brittany, Morgan and Kim) definitely do not hate or look down upon a Twilight fan because they are under eighteen, we simply needed to have the age limit due to the content and language that may or may not be present on the forum. Therefore, we thought it best to have restricted registration to those age 18 and up.
The name
The name was actually made up by Morgan’s boyfriend, who first suggested Touched By Aro, which then became Touched By Twilight because we really wanted Twilight somewhere in the name.
